Basics of Flashing

Flashing Spice mi 300 and other Foxconn F911 variants can be done in 2 ways (may be more ways exists)

Standalone
In Standalone flashing method doesn't require any connection to PC . The Rom can be updated from recovery mode (Clocworkmod recovery).Tthe update file (.zip extension) has to be transferred to sd card first and from recoverymode the zip has to be selected for installation.

SUT
This is the application for flashing by connecting your mobile to computer using data cable. SUT can be used in windows 32/64 bit computers. The drivers to detect the mobile in download mode must be properly installed ,failing which will result in flash failure(doesn't mean you bricked your phone).

Steps for flashing using SUT
1.) Connect you phone to computer using data cable.
2.) Install SUT(google it for downloads)
3.) Run SUT and click on Next
4.) Select the Rom file (.nb0 Extension files)
5.) Phone is detected by SUT and next button will be enabled (If phone not detected , Try Recovery mode method)
6.) Click on next
7.) Boot into recovery mode and scroll down to "Wipe data" ,Wipe Cache" and enter the trackball.
8) Reboot system now.

Phone is flashed with new ROM.

Recovery Mode
To get into Recovery Mode
Vol Up + Power + Camera

Recovery mode is a place where we can make basic settings on the phone. Recovery mode functions are as follows:
  • Flashing ROM
  • Data Wipe
  • Battery Reset Stat
  • G Sensor Reset
  • Wipe partition - only exist in the custom rom
  • Create Partition - only exist in the custom rom
  • Format Partition - only exist in the custom rom
  • Enable APP2SD - only exist in the custom rom
To go back to Stock Rom

Fast Boot mode (for flasing Recovery image)
Hangs up/End Call Button + Volume Down + Power Button

Wait until it says enter fastboot mode and connect the phone to computer using data cable

Download and extract the original recovery and clockworkmod recover update files here.

run Install Original Recovery.bat to install the original recovery.

Get the SUT from your mobile manufacturer site.
Or
Get Original /Custom Roms from here.
